JOHN LENNON, apenas cumplía 40 años de vida...

8 de diciembre de 1980:

John gritó “me han disparado, me han disparado”.
Con cuatro tiros en su cuerpo, pero con fuerzas aún para acercarse a los escalones de acceso del edificio Dakota, el guarda nocturno Jay Hastings avisa por radio a la policía. En tres minutos los agentes Cullen y Spiro son los primeros en llegar. Una segunda pareja de agentes llega y se acercan a él, creen reconocerlo, pero tienen que asegurarse: “¿quién es usted?”. “Soy Lennon, John Lennon, de los Beatles”.
